Perfect side dish when using these Teriyaki Cauliflower Bites.

I guess I’m still on my Asian bit because I recently made Korean BBQ Thighs, then the Sriracha Chicken Kebab’s, and now these awesome Teriyaki Cauliflower Bites. First you bake the cauliflower florets, then make the teriyaki sauce, and you’re all set. I don’t suggest you keep these in the fridge for more than a day. Teriyaki Cauliflower Bites

Teriyaki Cauliflower Bites


  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ginger, fresh, grated
  • 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cassava flour, or corn starch
  • 1 cauliflower head
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds


  1. Pre-heat oven to 425F
  2. Cut cauliflower into florets, wash and dry
  3. Place on a baking sheet with parchment paper, bake 20-30 mins, until crispy and golden
  4. In a low-med heat sauce pan add sesame oil
  5. Add chopped garlic, stir 30 secs
  6. Add soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger.
  7. Whisk all ingredients and cook on low for 3-4 mins.
  8. Add water to a bowl and whisk the flour in.
  9. Add water mix to sauce pan and whisk until incorporated.
  10. Remove from heat and continue to whisk. When cool, toss with florets, top with sesame seeds and you're all set!
